KS4 Post-16 Options Evening Tuesday 13th November
Studying GCSEs represents the final stage of your son/daughter’s school career. The move into Post-16 education, apprenticeships or training is an important one and often difficult to make as there are many different options available.
As such we would like to invite all Year 10 & 11 pupils, parents and carers to attend our annual Post 16 Options evening. There will be an array of providers in attendance with information stands covering the full range of Post 16 opportunities arranged throughout the Theatre and Mall between 6pm-8pm.
You will be able to collect information and to ask questions directly to staff from over 30 organisations including:
- Local further education colleges
- A range of local schools with Sixth Form provision
- A range of work based training providers
- Employers & Armed forces
- Local Universities
Also present will be the school’s career leader and BDS’ independent careers advisor to offer individual support and guidance.
This evening is a crucial first step in this important process and we are fortunate to have such a wide range of visitors supporting us.
We do hope you will make every effort to attend, along with your son/daughter.
